Optional local storage
The display settings use two local-storage keys, prefixed for this website: zomirethu-privacy-choice records your optional-storage acknowledgement, and zomirethu-motion records the on-site movement preference.
They are written only when you enable remembering in the settings. They stay in this browser until you remove them through the settings, clear site data or remove them using browser tools. The site does not set an automatic expiry for these local-storage values.
They are not advertising identifiers and are not sent to the contact inbox. An earlier acknowledgement from this same website can be recognised, so you can review or withdraw it here.
The contact-form session
Opening the contact page requests a security token from the local contact handler. The PHP handler sets a session cookie containing a random security token, then checks that the submitted token matches it. This is separate from optional display storage.
The session cookie is used for form security, not advertising. Blocking it can prevent the form from submitting. The browser and server control the session’s actual lifetime; closing a window is not a reliable guarantee that every browser removes a session cookie immediately.
What is not saved
The site does not save a profile of your activity choices. The current puzzle or route, illustration filter, colour values and observation checks live in the page and reset when it reloads.
There are no analytics or advertising cookies set by the website’s own code. Ordinary server logs and submitted contact messages are different kinds of data; read the privacy notice for those details.
Change your choice
Use the button below or the matching footer control. To remove the optional stored values, untick “Remember my display preference” and choose Apply choices. The selected movement mode can still apply to the current page without being remembered.
You can also clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. That may clear the contact-form session as well, requiring a new token before the next submission.
